PERSPECTIVE MARKETING LAUNCHES NORTHERN YORK REGION PUBLICATION

OAKVILLE, Ontario, March 12, 2009 - Today, Perspective Marketing Inc. launched its inaugural edition of Perspective™ Northern York Region, a publication detailing the initiatives of six municipalities in Northern York Region. It was distributed throughout southern and southwestern Ontario in the Globe and Mail, and to select households in Northern York Region via Canada Post.

Perspective™ Northern York Region highlights the many initiatives and successes of York Region, and the towns of Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, King, Newmarket and Whitchurch-Stouffville. The region and the towns within are all poised for significant growth in their respective economies and populations in the coming years, and each is taking steps to ensure their economic competitiveness.

"The population of York Region's northern six communities is expected to increase by 60 per cent by 2031," says Steve Montague, Managing Partner at Perspective Marketing Inc. "This influx of residents will be a boon to these communities, bringing with it serious economic investment. It's an exciting time for the region."

Some upcoming initiatives detailed in the publication include the establishment of the East Gwillimbury University; the Hallgrove Business Park in Aurora; the Keswick Business Parks in Georgina; Seneca College's Global Revitalization Centre in King; Newmarket's rapid transit system; and Whitchurch-Stouffville's creative class cluster.

"The communities of Northern York Region know what their competitive advantages are and are letting Ontario know that they are open for business," says Montague.
