FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PERSPECTIVE MARKETING LAUNCHES PERSPECTIVE MILTON 2008

OAKVILLE, Ontario, May 13, 2008 - Today, Perspective Marketing Inc. announced the launch of Perspective™ Milton 2008, a publication showcasing the initiatives taking place in Canada's fastest growing town. The publication was distributed in subscriptions of the Globe and Mail and to select households in Milton via Canada Post.

With a population increase of 71.4 per cent between the 2001 and 2006 Canada censuses, the Town of Milton has a lot to talk about. This unprecedented growth rate has spurred investment throughout the town, particularly in industrial, commercial and residential real estate. But, as readers will discover, the town has a lot more initiatives underway in addition to real estate.

"The Town of Milton has been on our radar for a number of years," says Glenn Marshall, Managing Partner at Perspective Marketing Inc. "The town has grown at an impressive rate, drawing significant investment along the way."

Inside the publication, readers can get caught up on Mayor Gordon Krantz's recent visit to Asia as a representative of the Greater Toronto Marketing Alliance. The Mayor toured Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, encouraging investors to look towards the Greater Toronto Area for their future investments.

Other stories in the publication include the town's transit initiatives; the expansion of the Milton Town Hall; the development of the Arts and Entertainment Centre, as well as the proposed addition to the Sports Centre; and other recent investments in the town.

One of the biggest announcements in the town of late has been the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the town and Wilfrid Laurier University. The memorandum is an agreement denoting how both parties will pursue the possibility of Laurier developing a new campus in Milton.

"The signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Town of Milton and Wilfrid Laurier University is a great achievement for the town," says Marshall. "If Laurier decides to build in the town, it will help to establish a knowledge-based economy in the town."

All Perspective Marketing publications are archived in the National Library of Canada. Perspective™ Milton 2008 is part of a series of Perspective Marketing Inc. publications reporting on municipalities in Ontario. There are currently 17 editions, a number expected to grow to 24 by the end of 2008.
