FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OAKVILLE, Ontario, December 2, 2008 - Today, Perspective Marketing Inc. announced the release of Perspective™ Burlington 2009. Distributed throughout the Greater Toronto Area in the Globe and Mail, and to select households in Burlington via Canada Post, Perspective™ Burlington 2009 informs readers of the many exciting initiatives taking place in the city. The publication is introduced with a message from Burlington Mayor Cam Jackson, and includes articles detailing many new developments in the city such as the Brant Street Pier, the Burlington Centre for the Performing Arts, updates to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, and Mapleview Mall. "The City of Burlington and its citizens combine to make the city one of the best places in Canada in terms of business, social causes, culture and great people," says Steve Montague, Managing Partner at Perspective Marketing. "The developments that are being undertaken by the city and its private stakeholders are proving that the city's vision is focused on the future." Greening initiatives from Burlington's private sector are helping to ensure that the city remains progressive from an environmental perspective. Mountain Equipment Co-op, Laurel Steel, Davies Smith Developments and Union Gas have all shown their commitment to the environment by creating or enhancing existing structures to reduce environmental impact. Other articles in the publication include information on the region's top educational institutions, including several independent schools and the expansion efforts of Mohawk College. Also included are profiles on six of Burlington's most dedicated community members - people that have made great contributions of time, money and energy to support various community endeavours. This year, Perspective™ Burlington introduced a new special section called Laura's List. Perspective Marketing Inc. intern, Laura Dagmar, takes a look at some of Burlington's best consumer destinations and informs readers about some of the great buys in the city this season. All Perspective Marketing Inc. publications are archived in the National Library of Canada. Perspective™ Burlington 2009 is part of a series of Perspective Marketing Inc. publications reporting on municipalities in Ontario. There are currently 17 editions, a number expected to grow to 24 by the end of 2009. For more information, please contact: Mike O'Drowsky |
