FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OAKVILLE, Ontario, Wednesday, April 2, 2008 - Today, Perspective Marketing Inc. announced the release of Perspective™ Brampton 2008, a comprehensive publication outlining the many new investments and initiatives taking place in the Flower City. Perspective™ Brampton 2008 was distributed throughout the Greater Toronto Area in subscriptions of the Globe and Mail, and also to select households in Brampton via Canada Post. Inside the publication, readers will learn about the many initiatives that the City of Brampton has undertaken to become one of Canada's top communities in which to live, work and play. Last year, the city was recognized by the World Health Organization as one of the world's safest cities, one of only 10 cities in North America to receive the designation. "The City of Brampton has a lot to celebrate as of late," says Steve Montague, managing partner as Perspective Marketing Inc. "It's designation as one of the safest cities in North America is the result of a caring community that knows the benefits of working together." Unprecedented residential growth in the city is evidenced by the number of new condominium high rises either planned or already under construction in the downtown core. This growth is only one aspect of the city's strategy to revitalize its historic downtown. Other elements include the Flower City Strategy, which has seen Brampton reclaim its title as Canada's Flower Town, and the city's business community is expanding its sector base to include several new technology industries.
