FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PERSPECTIVE GROWING WITH BARRIE

OAKVILLE, Ontario, February 26, 2008 – Today, Perspective Marketing Inc. announced the release of Perspective™ Barrie 2008. This comprehensive publication, which documents the city's phenomenal growth in the last year, was distributed in the Globe and Mail and to select households in Barrie via Canada Post.

Introduced with a message from Mayor Dave Aspden, Perspective™ Barrie 2008 takes readers through the many aspects of Barrie as a community. City officials and community stakeholders are facilitating the growth of the city's economy through a series of exciting initiatives, including the largest the capital project ever undertaken in the city, the approximately $300-million expansion of the Royal Victoria Hospital.

"What the city has accomplished in recent years has really inspired our team to showcase Barrie as the ambitious city it is with our Perspective™ Barrie publication," says Steve Montague, managing partner at Perspective Marketing Inc. "The way that the community has come together, especially with regard to raising funds for the Royal Victoria Hospital, is an amazing story to tell."

So far, the "I Believe" campaign, organized by the Royal Victoria Hospital Auxillary, has netted $30 million, well on its way to $35 million. Another of the city's accomplishments is Barrie's newly arrived Go Transit service, which opened in December 2007 with the unveiling of the new Barrie South Station.

Park Place, the city's emerging, 200-acre lifestyle centre, is steadily becoming a reality as workers prepare for the opening of the first phase, scheduled for 2009. And Nautica, a residential condominium development on the city's waterfront is nearing completion.

"Perspective™ Barrie 2008 marks our third time in as many years producing this profile of Canada's fastest growing city," says Montague. "In three short years, the city has embarked on a multi-level renaissance that is sure to keep Barrie in the minds of investors and potential residents across the country."
