“THE WORLD COMES TO HAMILTON”
OAKVILLE, Ontario (June 26, 2003) - Perspective Marketing published
a newspaper supplement for the City of Hamilton that appeared in
papers today.
The section appears in Golden Horseshoe area copies
of The Globe and Mail, National Post, and The Hamilton Spectator with
a limited number of copies appearing in The Buffalo News. The supplement
had a total press run of 300,000 copies.
“The World Comes to Hamilton” plays strongly on the international
events coming to the city this year including the World Cycling Championships
and the Bell Canadian Open golf championship. The Canadian National Cycling
Championships will also be held here at the end of June, making it an
ideal year for Hamilton to promote its strengths to visitors.
Other highlights of the section include snapshots of Hamilton’s
educational, healthcare and transportation offerings as well as arts
and cultural activity.
This is the second time Perspective has produced the Hamilton supplement.
