PERSPECTIVE LAUNCHES
OAKVILLE 2004 SECTION

OAKVILLE, Ontario (June 9, 2004) - Perspective Marketing Inc. has independently published 145,000 copies of its Oakville newspaper supplement for distribution today through copies of The Globe and Mail in select areas and every household in Oakville via Canada Post.

The section highlights some of Oakville’s most exciting activities in 2004. Ford of Canada is celebrating 100 years in business and continues to be a major contributor to the Oakville economy as the town is home to its Canadian headquarters. Oakville residents are looking forward to the opening of a local Butterfly Park and Winter Skateway. The Town is in the process of implementing its Blueprint Oakville initiative, which will incorporate community feedback in planning Oakville’s future. The renowned Glen Abbey golf course will host the Bell Canadian Open on the occasion of the event’s 100th anniversary this September. Oakville also contains stories on the town’s healthcare, education, tourism venues, and more.

“Oakville continues to be a town of competitive amenities,” says Steve Montague, managing partner with Perspective Marketing, “and good news stories are always in abundance when it comes to building our editorial line-up for the section. As an Oakville-based company we are proud to produce a publication that proves to be effective in generating business interest in the community.”

On June 7, 2004, Perspective Marketing hosted a cocktail reception at Paradiso Restaurant in Oakville to celebrate the section’s launch. Oakville Mayor Ann Mulvale was on hand along with other high profile members of the business community.
