Burlington Connects Business and Lifestyle
OAKVILLE, Ontario (October 30, 2002) - The Burlington Economic
Development Corporation diligently works with the public and private
sectors to promote economic growth in Burlington. This year The
City of Burlington has announced a new look and a new slogan, "Connecting
Business and Lifestyle". This campaign hit the streets today in
the form of a special supplement within The Globe and Mail Newspaper,
The National Post Newspaper and The Buffalo News. The overall objective
of this piece was to show the synergies between Burlington as the
ideal location to start-up, relocate or expand a business and also
the perfect location to live and raise a family.
The mass impact piece produced by Perspective Marketing in conjunction
with the BEDC illustrates the close proximity to the U.S. border,
three airports and an abundance of educated graduates all within
an hours drive. Within these pages readers also learn about the
waterfront revitalization and how TEAM BURLINGTON made up of the
BEDC, Downtown BIA, Tourism Burlington, City Hall and The Burlington
Chamber of Commerce have come together to help business grow.
The overall partnership named TEAM BURLINGTON includes the construction
of a brand new facility located on the lake front housing office,
retail and a 133,500-sq.-ft.parking facility. Burlington is running
a high performance economy. The BEDC and Perspective Marketing are
proud to partner with this exciting initiative sending Burlington's
message to the hundreds of thousands of readers learning of the
many wonders of Burlington Ontario.
