OAKVILLE, Ontario (November 20, 2003) - Budds’ BMW Hamilton celebrated
its new location in the city with a large-scale grand opening event
held November 20 and 21 at the 21,000-square-foot facility.
Budds’ opened its Hamilton dealership at 1471 Upper
James Street in January 2003. After a year of getting to know Hamilton
and its surrounding area better, Budds’ BMW Hamilton staff felt
the time was right to celebrate its place in the Hamilton community.
Budds’ managing staff, BMW Canada representatives, Hamilton Mayor
Larry DiIanni, and City of Hamilton and Hamilton Chamber of Commerce
representatives were on hand for the much-anticipated celebration, which
also took the opportunity to roll out the all-new BMW X3.
Perspective generated publicity for Budds’ through
a number of venues, including: articles in local newspapers such as
The Hamilton Spectator; direct mail pieces targeting the 5,000 top-income
households in Hamilton; a newspaper advertising campaign; Budds’
pre-owned vehicle guide; and radio spots on 102.9 K-Lite FM and Wave
94.7 FM.
