THE OAKVILLE CLUB HIRES PERSPECTIVE

OAKVILLE, Ontario, June 18, 2005 Oakville's prestigious riverside club only had to look across the Sixteen Mile Creek to Perspective Marketing for the answer to its need for a new marketing campaign that would bring in the member recruitment numbers it was seeking.   

The Oakville Club is a private club that offers its members a social community based around sports for the whole family. Its outdated marketing material was lacking in impact and results.

Perspective Marketing developed an ad campaign and public relations strategy as part of the overall rebranding initiative. This included a new presentation folder, corporate lure brochure, and direct mail campaign with a two-sided postcard to high-income homes.

"The new marketing materials for The Oakville Club have caused a wave of 'Wow,'" says Fay Stallan, membership director at The Oakville Club. "Our Members and staff are thrilled with the new look and feel the new brochure and presentation materials represent well the club's true identity. Perspective Marketing's team of designers, copy writers, printers and marketing experts made the whole process very smooth. It was such a pleasure to work with their team."

Membership at The Oakville Club costs an average of $10,000, so Perspective Marketing was required to ensure delivery of a very specific message to a very targeted audience.

The new marketing campaign has already delivered results. "The ad that we ran in Perspective Oakville 2005 generated six phone calls and one firm sale of a family membership with other appointments later in the month," adds Stallan. "The direct mail campaign that has just been mailed out has already generated many phone calls and interest."
