PERSPECTIVE PRODUCES OAKVILLE 2004 MAP

OAKVILLE, Ontario (July 15, 2004) – Perspective Marketing has produced an Oakville Map that was released today and will be distributed throughout the year targeting business travelers and visitors at Oakville sports tournaments, festivals, hotels, restaurants, banquet halls, golf courses and other tourist locations.

“The map is very useful and our customers love it,” says Barbara Irving, General Manager of Burlington’s Travelodge Hotel, which is carrying some of the maps.

This 24-page flip map will help visitors easily navigate around Oakville and will serve as a valuable reference tool during their stay.

Oakville hosts a vast number of sports tournaments and competitions throughout the year. Between events, participants and often their parents have considerable leisure time and are looking for places to shop, eat and entertain. Oakville is also often a destination for business travelers with disposable income looking for activities during their overnight stay.

The full-colour travel map features a gloss cover. Each page features a section of the map with a banner ad below. Advertisers also have their location shown on the map.

“Perspective Marketing has found a real niche market that has been underserved in most communities,” says Steve Montague, managing partner. “We have created a unique distribution strategy that has been very beneficial to our partners. Our circulation is proactive and dynamic as opposed to literature that is static and distributed at kiosks.”

Perspective Marketing is a full-service advertising agency that co-ordinates editorial, photography, creative layout and design, and generates a creative cost-recovery strategy for various publications. The company also provides full creative services including logo design, print and broadcast creative, and multimedia services. All Perspective Marketing publications are archived in the National Library of Canada.
