HELPS LONDON CELEBRATE 150 YEARS, LAUNCHES LONDON 2005 INSERT
OAKVILLE, Ontario (March
8, 2005) – In celebration of 150 years of London history,
Perspective Marketing has launched London 2005 highlighting the
thriving nature of this “capital” of southwestern Ontario.
Since its early beginnings, London has evolved into an internationally
recognized centre of excellence in research and industry. London
2005 highlights the city’s major socio-economic drivers such
as The University of Western Ontario, Fanshawe College, a network
of life science research facilities, and manufacturing businesses.
London is enjoying a growing level of collaboration between its
sectors.
Perspective Marketing gave a 150th anniversary theme to the publication
using black and white photos from early London days. Stories on
the life sciences and manufacturing sectors as well as education,
healthcare, downtown revitalization and other hot topics.
"London 2005 makes an excellent visual and editorial presentation
of our city," says Patricia Hoffer, director of marketing and
communications for the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC).
"The LEDC has received positive feedback on the project thus
