PERSPECTIVE PRODUCES FERSTIVAL OF CLASSICS
MARKETING MATERIAL

OAKVILLE, Ontario (June 7, 2004) - Perspective Marketing has retained its marketing contract with Oakville’s Festival of Classics (FOC). Today the company released a four-page, colour advertising supplement for the 2004 event that was distributed in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) copies of The Globe and Mail.

Perspective won the contract in 2003 and received accolades for its effective job marketing the professional Shakespeare production, performed at Oakville’s Coronation Park on the shores of Lake Ontario. It is again the agency of record for the Festival’s 2004 productions: Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors and Canadian playwright David French’s Salt-Water Moon.

For the first time, the Festival will produce two plays at two different outdoor locations in Oakville. The Comedy of Errors will be presented at Coronation Park and Salt-Water Moon at Bronte Harbour.

“We will continue to focus on a combination of direct marketing, mass marketing and publicity,” says Glenn Marshall, managing partner of Perspective Marketing. “Our direct marketing database has grown by 2,000 names from last year. They [the database] are a primary target audience since they have already attended the festival. We will be using the metroland publications and The Globe and Mail to extend our audience reach to attract new customers.”

Perspective Marketing is a full-service advertising agency and publishing house that co-ordinates editorial, photography, creative layout and design, and generates a creative cost-recovery strategy for various publications. The company also provides full creative services including logo design, print and broadcast creative, and multimedia services. All Perspective Marketing publications are archived in the National Library of Canada.
