BRUCE TRAIL PARTNERS WITH PERSPECTIVE

OAKVILLE, Ontario (April 27, 2004) - Perspective Marketing produced a newspaper supplement for the Bruce Trail Association (BTA) that was released today. Distribution is 145,000 copies inserted in The Globe and Mail newspaper throughout the Golden Horseshoe Area.

Perspective Marketing acquired the contract to publish the supplement for the BTA this spring. “Bruce Trail: Reconnect with Nature” was designed as an eye-catching supplement that is light on text, heavy on graphics. The section profiles the BTA’s efforts to secure more of the Bruce Trail in perpetuity; the crucial assistance of members, donors and volunteers in this effort; highlights of the Trail; and facts about its significance.

“We’re looking forward to some positive results and profile raising through this new initiative with Perspective Marketing” says Jaci Winters, executive director of the BTA. “It’s our hope that this will result in more members, donors and volunteers for the Bruce Trail. We were also hoping to inform the public about our organization; everyone knows the Trail, but not necessarily much about how we work.”

“At 800 kilometres, the Bruce Trail is the oldest and longest continuous footpath in Canada,” says Glenn Marshall, managing partner of Perspective Marketing. “Perspective is pleased to partner with the BTA in the promotion of this national legacy. We are building a real portfolio of conservation-based clients and to have the Bruce Trail on our list is a real accomplishment.”

Perspective Marketing is a full-service advertising agency which co-ordinates the editorial, photography, creative layout and design and generated a creative cost-recovery strategy for the supplement. Perspective Marketing has produced a variety of publications specializing in government-related publications. The company also provides full creative services including logo design, print and broadcast creative as well as multimedia services.
