PERSPECTIVE UNVEILS FIRST BRANTFORD SECTION

OAKVILLE, Ontario (September 23, 2004) –
Perspective Marketing Inc. has independently published 200,000 copies of its Brantford 2005 newspaper supplement for distribution today through copies of The Globe and Mail in select areas of Southern and South Western Ontario as well as every household and business in Brantford via Canada Post.

The section highlights Brantford’s changing nature. “It’s not the place it used to be,” says Mayor Mike Hancock, who has watched Brantford endure difficult years of high unemployment in the 1980s. The new Brantford Tourism and Visitor Centre, Brantford Charity Casino and growing number of students at branches of Mohawk College, Wilfrid Laurier University and Nipissing University in the city, are all vital signs of the “new Brantford.” Mayor Hancock is leading the charge in attempting to acquire provincial funding for the extension of GO Transit and a 400-series highway to Brantford, Cambridge and Guelph areas. Activity is also highly visible on the business front; Brantford just acquired possibly its largest coup in 20 years as Ferrero Group announced its intention to build its new North American facility in the city. The section covers these topics and more and is a suitable marketing piece for site selectors and investors.

“Perspective Marketing's special Globe & Mail insert provides the City of Brantford with an incredible opportunity to market itself throughout Ontario,” says Mayor Hancock about the section. “It gives those outside the community a real insight as to just how much is going on in and around the city. Additionally, it provides the City with an excellent marketing tool by giving the reader a real sense of how great it is to live, work and play in Brantford. I must say as well, that it has been a real pleasure working with Glenn Marshall and Rachel De Lazzer of Perspective Marketing as they put the supplement together. I found them helpful, patient and thorough, and I look forward to working on next year's edition.”

Perspective Marketing initiated the project through the Mayor’s Office. “We were eager to add Brantford to our expanding portfolio of newspaper sections on municipalities throughout the Golden Horses
