LIVING ON TOP IN OAKVILLE

Oakville, Ontario, Tuesday, July 26, 2011 - Oakville publishing firm Perspective Marketing Inc.’s annual Perspective™ Oakville supplement showcases the ways in which the Town of Oakville has blossomed into a dynamic business community, well positioned for positive economic growth. The publication has been distributed in The Globe and Mail throughout southern and south-western Ontario, and within the Oakville city district via Canada Post.

The City of Oakville’s Economic Development team has been actively working on creating new business strategies that will further strengthen Oakville’s growing economy. Direct focus has been mainly focused on incorporating more innovative practices into every facet of business development.

“This publication is proud to feature the innovative achievements of Oakville-based companies,” says Steve Montague, CEO of Perspective Marketing Inc. “It is clear that new and existing businesses in Oakville have made innovation and environmentally sustainable practices a top priority.”

This year’s edition of Perspective™ Oakville gives a first look at some of the exciting new projects set to break ground throughout Oakville later this year. Rain Condominiums, designed and built by innovative GTA firms, is set to bring condo-style living to Oakville’s Kerr Village. Get a sneak peek at the proposed vision for the new Oakville Hospital, slated to begin construction this August. The new facility will be a projected 1.5 million square feet, with an estimated 80 percent availability of single rooms. Innovative educational initiatives also abound in Oakville; Appleby College students embrace their roles as global citizens, participating in a myriad of service projects around the world, while local restaurateur Julia Hanna works to educate and change eating habits with her not-for-profit the Kids Culinary Community.

Produced by Perspective Marketing Inc. Perspective™ Oakville is one of over 17 municipal publications.
