PERSPECTIVE MARKETING HELPS CONSERVATION HALTON FOCUS ON FORESTS

OAKVILLE, Ontario, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 - Oakville based publishing firm Perspective Marketing Inc. is happy to help Conservation Halton celebrate what the United Nations has declared the International Year of Forests (IYF), an initiative aimed at reinforcing the importance of forests worldwide. The Spring/Summer 2011 edition of Focus on Conservation, distributed to over 110,000 residents throughout the Halton region, highlights a number of exciting events that will commemorate this momentous year.

Conservation Halton worked closely with Perspective to design the publication, coordinating the print and distribution process as well as editorial content. This edition of the bi-annual publication focuses primarily on the benefits of conserving the forests in Halton, while also suggesting outdoor activities that can be fun for the whole family, like mountain biking, picnicking and tree planting.

With a salute to local green heroes, all recipients of the 2011 Conservation Halton Awards of Excellence, this edition of Focus on Conservation also features a complete calendar of upcoming events sponsored by Conservation Halton. A number of exciting IYF events appear on the agenda, including a free speaker series and a number of environmentally directed workshops. Forest Festival Fun Day is slated for October 15, an excellent way to kick off the Fall into Nature Festival.

“It is always a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Conservation Halton to put out this publication,” says Perspective Marketing Inc. CEO Steve Montague. “This season’s edition does a great job of detailing the indispensible environmental benefits of forest protection and preservation.”

Perspective Marketing Inc. produces custom publications in-house for private and public sector corporations, as well as independent publishing ventures across Ontario and Canada.
