When Excite Canada needed a non-traditional means to promote the launch of its new search engine, Perspective Marketing partnered with BBDO/OMD and re-created the excite logo in ice. Showing up all over the streets of Toronto, a total of 11 ice scupltures were created standing 6 feet tall. This campaign was a result of BBDO/OMD, excite.ca's agency of record, wanting a never-been-done-before, street-level marketing program that would create awareness and loads of impressions.

The initial idea was to have the little excite person (or LEP as he is fondly known by) re-created as a snowman to coincide with the launch of Excite in Canada. The idea evolved into reproducing the excite.ca's logo in ice and having a crew on the street manning the sculpture, handing out information on excite.ca, and answering any questions the public may have had.

Street-level marketing has become a popular means to promote products and services. Perspective Marketing has become a specialist in this field by reproducing artwork, and campaigns, logos not only in ice but also in chalk, and on sides of buildings. Working with many of Canada's top advertising agencies, Perspective Marketing continues to execute on the street the ideas of creative minds to increase exposure and stretch those media dollars.
